North Greenland Windsled Patrol

Inuit Windsled Project  will take a giant step into the start and  implementation  of a regular set of Expeditions covering all the North Greenland icecap and adjacent lands.

2025 Expedition will be the first of The North Greenland Inuit Windsled Expeditions.

Precondition for that project is the opening of the viability of the route from west to east and then return to the same point in the west coast.

Together with the opening of the logistic centre for the project in Upernavik.

And the surface access to the icecap overland at start and end of the expedition.

To solve all these elements will be key for future zero scientific exploration in North Greenland.

The expedition will cover an approximate 2000 km distance. Explore unvisited East coast Nunataks. And carry out 3 scientific projects. While improving technical and electrical capabilities of Inuit Windsled platform.

Expedition will take place during May and June 2025.

The main objective of the 2025 expedition will be to test for the first time the Windsled as a platform for the scientific exploration of the North Greenland Icecap.
